Girlguiding Shropshire launched its 2021 Midsummer Magic event which ran over the weekend 5th-6th June. This Sleep/Campover at home was a magical weekend of fun and the girls enjoyed some new activities, had a go at our Scavenger Hunt, made a den and put up their tents and had fun!
On Saturday, they learn’t how to make a fairy garden or mini camp and get crafty with Ice hangings and Twig angels, made some S’mores before they joined author and storyteller Sarah Griffiths for a Girlguiding Shropshire premier of her new story ‘When the Fireflies came’. Then they settled down for our campfire and sing along in the comfort of their own home.
On Sunday they learn’t how to make eggy bread or vegan French toast before they joined our live STEM Challenge at 10.00 am with Leanne and Lois from The STEM Workshop, plus many more fun things.
