On Saturday 5th March, Marion Wynn The County Archivist, arranged a Girlguiding Shropshire archive exhibition at St Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury. This exhibition was titled “We Change As The Lives of Girls Change” and showed how Girlguiding in the county has changed over the years. One of the panels depicted the dedication of the old County Standard at this church in 1951 attended by Lady Baden-Powell. The exhibition was supported by the girls and leaders of Shrewsbury Division focusing on Girlguiding today. A mention must be made of the PR Team who braved the cold weather outside.
